About Todo and Earn
Todo and Earn is a straightforward to-do list with one difference: finishing a task pays. Add a task, set a due date, and get a reminder on the morning it is due. Complete it and you earn a coin, and coins convert to real PayPal money.
It is built for lists you actually keep. Repeating tasks roll forward when you finish them instead of cluttering the list with copies, any task can carry notes that preview in the list, deletes can be undone, and the whole list can go out through the share sheet. There is a tablet split view — on an iPad and on an Android tablet alike — and both light and dark themes. No account, no sign-up — open it and start.
We are straight about the size of the reward: this is a small bonus for building a habit, not an income. Coins are capped at ten earning tasks a day, 1,000 coins is $1.00, and payouts start at 2,000 coins ($2.00) — so consistent use gets you to a first payout in roughly a month. The app is paid for by advertising: a banner, and short videos. A video adds three to nine coins to a task you have already completed, where the task itself pays one; completing a task never needs one, and on finished tasks alone the ten-task cap puts a first payout most of a year away.

What it actually pays
The arithmetic here is the simplest of the four and we would rather you saw it than guessed. A coin per completed task, capped at ten coin-earning tasks a day, is 10 coins on a full day. A coin is a tenth of a cent and the first cash-out is 2,000 coins, or $2.00. Derived: about 200 days — most of a year — on finished tasks alone.
A video adds three to nine coins to a task already completed. Taken after each one, a full day is 40 to 100 coins, bringing the same $2.00 in roughly 20 to 50 days. That is a fivefold to tenfold difference, and it is the honest center of what an ad-funded reward app is: the tasks are the reason to open it, and the advertising is what pays for the coins.
We put that gap in front of you rather than averaging it away, because averaging it away is the exact move we criticize on the Mistplay payouts page, where a homepage advertises an average across a distribution its own terms say is deliberately unequal. A to-do list that pays you is a nice nudge to finish things. It is not an income, and 200 days is what that sentence means in numbers.

Is Todo and Earn free?
Yes. No subscription and no in-app purchases - it's funded by advertising, a banner and optional short videos, and the coins are a share of that revenue. Your list works exactly the same if you never watch one.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS 15.0 or later, or an Android phone or tablet. There's a split view on a tablet either way. The App Store rates it 4+ and Google Play rates it Mature 17+, which is the widest gap of our four and is about the cash reward rather than anything in a to-do list — the listing carries a Cash Rewards label beside it.
How many coins can I earn a day?
Up to ten tasks a day earn coins, at one coin each. You can add as many tasks as you like beyond that — they just stop earning once you hit the daily cap. Completing a task never needs a video; one adds 3 to 9 coins to a task you have already finished, so the most a day can pay is 100 coins.
How much do I need to cash out?
2,000 coins, which is $2.00, the first time. After that it is 5,000 coins, or $5.00: PayPal charges us a fee on every transfer, and on a $2.00 payment that fee takes a large share of what is sent, so fewer and larger payments leave more of the money with you. Coins convert at 1,000 to $1.00. Taking the videos, a first payout is roughly a month of consistent use; on finished tasks alone it is most of a year. Either way it's a bonus for building a habit rather than an income.
How do I get paid?
Through PayPal. You redeem your coin balance from inside the app.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no account to create. You open the app and start adding tasks.
Do repeating tasks clutter up my list?
No. A task set to repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly rolls forward to its next due date when you finish it, rather than leaving a copy behind.
Is there an Android version?
Yes, it's on Google Play now, and so are the other three reward apps. Same list, same coin per task and the same ten-a-day cap, with the split view on a tablet. An Android build was the single most requested thing we got asked for, which is what moved all four onto the store.
Do my tasks or coins move between phones?
No. There's no account, so nothing syncs — your list and your coin balance both live on the device, and an iPhone balance and an Android balance are separate, each needing to reach 2,000 coins on its own. That's the trade for not asking you to sign up. Cash out before you switch phones, and use the share sheet if you want the list itself to come with you.
