100 SB to the dollar, exactly, on a gift card
The Swagbucks store is unusually consistent. A $25 gift card costs 2,500 SB whether it's Amazon, Walmart, Apple, Target, Google Play or a Virtual Prepaid Mastercard. A $5 Amazon card is 500 SB and a $100 Hulu card is 10,000. The cheapest reward is a $1 Amazon gift card at 100 SB.
PayPal adds 30 SB to every cash-out
Every PayPal reward costs its face value times 100, plus 30 SB. Swagbucks says the extra covers the fees PayPal charges it. Because it's flat, it costs more on a small cash-out than a big one, and PayPal starts at $5:

Do Swagbucks expire?
The terms don't put a date on them, but Swagbucks keeps the right to adopt expiry rules, even for SB you already have. An account can be closed after twelve straight months of no activity, and logging in once counts. Once PayPal emails you about a cash-out, you have thirty days to claim it.
