How many points for a dollar amount?
Where 1,000 points to the dollar comes from
Fetch's terms say points have no cash value, and the reward prices live inside the app. But sweepstakes rules have to put a value on the prize, so Fetch has priced its points in public three times. The rules value 2,500,000 points at about $2,500 in January 2025, fifty prizes of 100,000 points at $5,000.00 in October 2025, and 2,000,000 points at about $2,000 in March 2026. Each one works out to a tenth of a cent a point.
Fetch's own blog said the same thing in July 2026: roughly 1,000 points to the dollar, with gift cards from more than 600 brands starting at $3.
How many Fetch points do you need to cash out?
Fetch says 3,000 points redeems most rewards. Its FAQ adds the catch: a first redemption has to be a $10, $25 or $50 reward, and the $3 and $5 options open up after that. So the real first threshold is 10,000 points. At the 25-point minimum for a receipt, that's 400 receipts, and Fetch caps you at 35 in a rolling seven days.
Do Fetch points expire?
Yes. Fetch expires points after 90 days in which you neither earn nor redeem. The terms say a warning goes out at 60 days, with 30 days' notice by email or text. Scanning one receipt resets the clock.
The rest of the arithmetic, including what a year of receipts adds up to, is on how much Fetch pays.
