Run right, jump the gaps, and reach the flag at the end of the level. The buttons under the playfield work with a mouse or a finger. Or click the game once and use the keyboard: the arrow keys or A and D to run, Space or Up to jump, and J or X to attack. Q switches between sword and bow, and holding W or Shift aims the bow up. A level ends at the flag, or when your hearts run out. It is an early version, still being built, of the game that is coming to the App Store and Google Play — built from the same code, and not in either store yet.

What this page does and does not do

  • Your progress stays in this browser. Levels, badges and high scores are kept in this browser’s storage, not in an account — so they do not follow you to another browser, another computer or your phone, and clearing your site data or playing in a private window loses them. There is no app yet to carry them over to.
  • There are no ads here. Not as a favor: the ad network has no browser version, so there is nothing to show. The store versions will carry a banner on the menus and optional videos that pay bonus coins; this one offers neither.
  • Nothing is sold, and the game reports nothing. No in-app purchases, no account and no sign-in. The coins you pick up are spent on your knight in the armoury; they cannot be bought and never cash out. The app’s analytics and crash reporting do not run in a browser, so apart from the progress kept above, the game stores nothing and sets no cookies of its own. This page does carry the same analytics as every other page on the site, which is described in the privacy policy; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stays off until you accept the banner.
  • Nothing comes from Google, fonts included. The game engine is served from this domain rather than from Google’s CDN, which is not the framework default and was changed deliberately. The game’s own typeface, Roboto, is bundled with it and served from here too, so the browser asks no other domain for anything. Checked against this build on 25 September 2026 through a whole level, the end-of-run card and the armoury.

If it runs badly

It is about three megabytes to reach the title screen, of which the rendering engine is half and the title music a sixth, and the first level adds about three quarters of a megabyte more, mostly its own music. That figure is this build’s own files compressed locally on 25 September 2026 rather than a reading taken off the wire, so what Cloudflare actually serves may differ a little. It also leans on the browser rather than the phone’s graphics chip, so an old laptop or a weak connection will feel it, and the first load is slower than the second because nothing is cached yet. There is no installed version to fall back on yet. There is more about the game, including what it costs and what it collects, on its own page.
